Who we are

Little Lost Souls is a small maker of handmade ghosts based in Coventry, United Kingdom. We are the controller of any personal information you share with us. You can reach us at hello@darkhistoryuk.co.uk.

What we collect

This website has no accounts, no forms and no newsletter. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you around the internet.

If you press Adopt me, WhatsApp opens with a message ready to send. If you send it, we receive your name, phone number and anything you write. If you email us, we receive your email address and your message.

Why we use it

We use your details only to answer your enquiry and arrange your adoption, including delivery. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and performing that contract once you adopt.

Who else is involved

WhatsApp messages are handled by WhatsApp (Meta Platforms). Our Facebook page is run on Facebook (Meta Platforms). Each has its own privacy policy.

Our website host keeps short technical logs, such as IP addresses, to keep the site secure and running. The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser shares your IP address with Google when the page loads.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry messages only as long as needed to answer them, and order details as long as UK law requires for our records. Then we delete them.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, ask us to limit or stop using it, or ask for a copy to take elsewhere. Email hello@darkhistoryuk.co.uk and we will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

We use no tracking or advertising cookies. Your browser only stores your answer to our cookie notice, so we don't ask again. If we ever add other cookies, we will ask first.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Last updated October 2026.
